VAL D'ORCIA
THE EXPERIENCE
The postcard, in person.
The Val d'Orcia is the Tuscany of the posters: rolling hills, lines of cypresses and stone farmhouses on the crests. Your private driver collects you at your villa and takes the slow roads through it, stopping wherever the view asks you to.
The day usually starts in Pienza, the Renaissance town famous for pecorino, continues to the little chapel of Vitaleta and the viewpoints near San Quirico, and ends in Montalcino, home of Brunello. We book lunch and a tasting along the way, so all you have to do is enjoy it.
