Florence is wonderful and crowded – and a good guide makes all the difference. Your driver takes you to the city in the morning, where a licensed guide meets you with timed tickets for the Uffizi, so you walk past the queue to Botticelli, Leonardo and Michelangelo.
After lunch the guide takes you to the Duomo, the Baptistery, Piazza della Signoria and the Ponte Vecchio, with the stories behind them. Then there is free time for shopping or a gelato before the drive back.
