Siena is best seen with someone who knows it. Your licensed guide meets you in town and walks you through the Piazza del Campo, the Duomo with its striped marble and the narrow streets of the contrade, the seventeen neighbourhoods that race the Palio twice a year.
In the afternoon your driver takes you north into the Chianti Classico hills for a visit and tasting at a wine estate, before the drive back to your villa through vineyards and olive groves.
